Victor David Caballero
Victor was born and raised in Oklahoma. His parents are from South America, Jose from Peru, and Silvia from Ecuador. Victor started in high school stage productions and has since been featured in multiple commercials including McDonalds, Hard Rock Casino in Tulsa, MidFirst Bank, and many more.
Victor is currently the Director of Education + Outreach at deadCenter Film where he manages the deadCenter University program and the Statewide Education Tour. He was the Equipment and Property Director at Gaylord College at the University of Oklahoma, where he managed multimedia equipment, was a member of the broadcast operations committee, supervised student employees, and was a liaison to facilities management.
He portrayed the main villain in the music video "Heart" opposite former Oklahoma City Thunder Player Mike Muscala aka "Mike Jawz." In 2021, he was a supporting actor in two feature films, "Malicious Motives" and "God's Not Dead: We the People."
In his 20 plus years in the industry, Victor has modeled in various print campaigns & acted in multiple short films, some of which he has written, produced, and/or directed. This includes the award-winning short films Defiants, Sky, and Anniversary. His latest film Seeker won Best Thriller at Venice Shorts, Arrow Festival, and Best Directing at the Athens International Monthly Art Film Festival. One of his greatest passions is teaching others the art of filmmaking through the OKCine Latino Film Institute, which he co-founded with Rogelio Almeida. Whether it is through images or video, telling a story is a passion that brings him great joy.
